A new brand for Wondershop, for social equity and inclusion among kids & youth
Focusing on social inclusion and equality, new gaming studio Wondershop amplifies the work of Me-säätiö (We Foundation). The foundation has built community houses and distributed grants of up to 10 million euros in support of various initiatives around Finland from 2015 to 2019. In 2020, Wondershop was created to operate alongside the foundation, introducing the concept of community-based games.
We helped the team to develop a new name, and designed a new brand identity. Wondershop merges the humanity of a foundation with the magic of a game studio into a unique space, living somewhere in between the digital and physical world. Our mission was to help bring that next step to life through the creation of a playful, adaptable and modular brand identity.
The new brand identity is built on the idea of pixels coming to life. The logo icon consists of a six sided 3D pixel opened up. Brand photography by Karoliina Bärlund captures children interacting with the digital world. A comprehensive website and PR launch were done by our friends at Bou.
